Eugene Baek

Eugene Baek is a 2nd year Computer Engineering student at the University of Waterloo. His passions are in software development and machine learning. To pursue these passions, he uses C++ and Python to create Neural Networks and work with TensorFlow.

In his first year, Eugene had the opportunity to work at Fidelity Canada as an Automation Specialist. As part of the Quality Assurance team, he was tasked to write automation scripts in Groovy and Java to verify the functionality of various webpage components and database interactions.

In his second year, Eugene joined Symcor to develop and program automated workflows and streamline a process that was done manually before. Working in python, Eugene had created a data capture program that would generate powerpoints for quarterly review.

Some of Eugene's hobbies include Hockey (Vancouver Canucks), Movies, Music, and Photography. Check out my latest photos on my home page!
